LEADER
Boba Fett – Any Means Necessary ability is ‘When you deal non-combat damage: You may exhaust this leader. If you do, deal 1 indirect damage to a player.’Â
A lot of the cards in this deck play off this ability from Events dealing damage from hand, to both ground and space units with their ‘On attack’, ‘When Played’ and/or ‘When defeated’ abilities.
Boba’s deployment side is strong when played as an upgrade ‘Deal up to 4 damage divided as you choose among any number of units.’ This is the best way to use him if you are able to. Not only can you potentially take out one or two units, his +4/+4 as an upgrade makes most of the Space Units in this deck pretty tough for Han to take down.
DECK OUTLINE
The idea is to deal lots of indirect damage and damage from hand and flood your opponent with damage this way.
Utilising Boba’s ability to do an additional indirect damage and having Hunting Aggressor in play can increase your damage output further.

There are plenty of cards in the deck to make use of Boba’s ability. The events are good cards anyway, but the additional indirect from Boba makes them better. Daring Raid, Electromagnetic Pulse, Force Choke, Grenade Strike, and No Disintegrations will all trigger Boba’s ability.
TIPS
This deck is strongest in Space with a number of cheap, hard hitting units with plenty of ‘When Played’, ‘On Attack’ and ‘When Defeated’ abilities.

IG-2000 (When played) , Imperial Interceptor (When played) and Zygerrian Starhopper (When defeated) are some examples of this which will all trigger Boba’s ability. Units like Elite P-38 Starfighter (When Played/When Defeated) and Fett’s Firespray (When Played/On Attack) are particularly good as they both have multiple chances of dealing extra damage to trigger Boba’s ability.

TIE Bomber is the best option to get out as early as possible to start making use of Boba’s ability and doing 4 indirect damage to your opponent. First Order Stormtrooper is also a good option for this reason.Â
Although Allegiant General Pryde can also potentially inflict the same sort of damage (providing you have the Initiative), his ability of ‘When indirect damage is dealt to a unit: You may defeat a non-unique upgrade on it.’ isn’t particularly useful against the Han Spotlight deck as there are limited options for this ability to come off I.e Dagger Squadron Pilot or Experience tokens.

Dengar – Crude and Slovenly is a solid pilot option for 2 cost, especially when played on one of the 13 Underworld vehicle cards to deal 3 indirect damage on attack.
No Good To Me Dead can be frustrating to play against and definitely a target for the bigger units and worth keeping hold of mid-late game. Along with Fett’s Firespray – Pursuing the Bounty and Bossk – Hunt By Instinct, these cards can stall your opponent for several rounds.

This Jump to Lightspeed spotlight deck is built using Leader: Han Solo – Never Tell Me The Odds (Cunning/Heroism) on Base: Echo Base (Command). The deck comprises of 50 cards from these three aspects from sets 1 to 4. There are 24 Ground Units, 15 Space Units, and 11 Events.

LEADER
Han Solo – Never Tell Me The Odds ability is to ‘Reveal the top card of your deck, then attack with a unit. If the revealed card and that unit have different odd costs, that unit gets +1/+0 for this attack.’
With the deck being built from only odd-costed cards, you are likely to get this off more times than not; especially if you have a selection of units on the board considering you don’t have to declare which unit you are attacking with until you have revealed the top card of your deck.
This also makes Han’s deployment ability more useful too; ‘For each friendly unit or upgrade that has an odd cost, ready a resource.’
DECK OUTLINE
There are a number of cards in the deck which also make use of cards with an odd cost:

When you play BoShek as an upgrade, ‘Discard 2 cards from your deck. Return each of those cards with an odd cost to your hand’ giving you a very good option for card draw. The downside being that your opponent has knowledge of these cards too.
Shuttle Tydirium’s On Attack ability ‘Discard a card from your deck. If it has an odd cost, you may give an Experience token to another unit.’ So make sure to have other units in play to make use of this.
Never Tell Me The Odds lets you ‘Discard 3 cards from an opponent’s deck and 3 cards from your deck. Deal damage to a unit equal to the number of cards with an odd cost discarded this way.’ This is a guaranteed 3 damage to your opponent. This play can be a little risky if you are looking to do more damage as it will depend on what is discarded from your opponent’s deck, with 31 out of the 50 cards in Boba’s spotlight deck being an even number.
TIPS
Stopping Boba from deploying as a Pilot upgrade by controlling your opponents space units is key. This can be a little tricky as your own space units aren’t as hard hitting. Piloting them or pumping them with either Han’s ability or Huyang – Enduring Instructor can help though. Once Boba is deployed as an upgrade, the likes of Waylay will be redundant on his vehicle so make sure to bounce their space units back before he can drop. Be careful though as there are a number of units with ‘On Play’ abilities which can be frustrating to face against twice.Â

There are more ground units in Han’s deck than there are in Boba’s so you can use this to your advantage to get damage into base and build a board. Though focusing too much this way will see Space become unmanageable as this is where Boba’s deck is the strongest.

There are a number of Restore options in Admiral Ackbar – Brilliant Strategist, Leia Organa – Pilots To Your Stations and Clone deserter so don’t be afraid to take the indirect damage to your base early on.

Loading up multiple pilots on Millennium Falcon – Get Out And Push or playing pilots such as The Mandalorian – Weathered Pilot or Chewbacca – Faithful First Mate just makes these units a target for No Good to Me Dead so spreading your threats across the board is probably a better option.
