Strategy
The main focus of this deck is to ramp your inkwell and build a board state while trying to play your big characters as soon as possible. Gramma Tala – Storyteller, Mickey Mouse – Detective, One Jump Ahead and even Let It Go can all help with this.
While building up your inkwell, characters such as Captain Hook – Forceful Duelist, Simba – Returned King and Aurora – Regal Princess are all cheap options to play early on.
Pairing Steel with Sapphire allows you to frustrate your opponent. Cards like Grab Your Sword, Smash and Let It Go are obvious choices here.

Elsa – Spirit of Winter, Scar – Mastermind, Mufasa – King of the Pride Lands, Chief Tui – Respected Leader and Hades – Infernal Schemer are all good options. Several middle cost characters such as Jasmine – Queen of Agrabah, Maleficent – Uninvited and Aurora – Dreaming Guardian can also help along the way.
Pairing Amethyst with Sapphire allows you to draw cards. Maleficent – Sorceress and Friends On The Other Side are perfect for this.
